When preparing for a family celebration, I was trying to figure out what dinner to make for 50 + people. A friend of mine suggested crockpot BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches. This was so simple, so cheap and fed a crowd!
This is one of those meals that needs to go on your entertaining a crowd list!
I had so much going on to prepare for this party that I went ahead and bought a gluten free BBQ sauce. It was SO good! Here is the brand I bought at our local Kroger store. It says gluten free right on the label… gotta love that! STUBB’S is just as good as homemade!
If you have time and want to make a homemade barbeque sauce, I do have one in our archives. Just make sure your Worcestershire sauce is gluten free!
So this recipe is as simple as it comes…
1 lb of chicken
BBQ sauce to taste (1/2 bottle at most)
buns or lettuce
Step 1: Place chicken in crock-pot and cook on low for 4 hours
Step 2: Shred chicken and add bbq sauce, cook for another 30 minutes
Step 3: Put on buns or lettuce and enjoy!

- Cook for 30 more minutes
- Put on buns or lettuce
- Serve!
