This week’s meal plan is made up of recipes I have tried and like recently and a couple of recipes we have been doing for years in my home. The Greek Lemon Chicken Rice Soup recipe is one of my all-time favorite recipes. The chicken fried rice and the cream, ham, and peas on toast are also recipes that we use a lot in my home. The other recipes are new to me. I hope you like them as much as I do/did.
I’m not actually here.
When you read this I will be on vacation. We are taking a trip to Washington D.C. so I am planning this meal plan in advance, and scheduling it to post on Saturday. I will try to share some pictures of our vaca later. It is actually Thursday night as I am typing this. Almost everything is packed so we can leave Friday morning and getting this meal plan ready to post is one of the last things I am doing before I head to bed. I’m excited, my husband is excited, and our kids are excited. I am hoping for some great family time, a little bit of reading time, and some relaxing time.
My husband is the planner in the family when it comes to vacations so he has each day mapped out for us already, but I know there will be down time at the hotel so I am hoping to get some reading in. Someone who works for Kids Alive International, where I work, suggested this book, “The Upward Spiral” so I bought it. I will let you know what I think of it.
Okay, so enough about me. On to this week’s meal plan. Here is what I have for you this week. . .
