The ingredients in this chicken wrap are just so perfect together. I LOVED this recipe. It makes a great lunch or dinner. (And bonus: I had enough leftovers of all the ingredients to make these for lunch the next day)
I will admit, though, that my kids did not share the same enthusiasm as me. They were not as eager as I was to put every ingredient into their wrap. I got this recipe from the Aldi recipes on the Aldi website and with a name of “California Kid Wrap” I thought I was going to be wrapping up a winner with this one. When I showed my children my delicious creation I allowed them to each take one bite to see what they thought, figuring they would be surprised at how wonderful it tasted. Well, they weren’t. I decided this could be one of those times I could be flexible and give them the freedom to create their own, adding and subtracting the ingredients they wanted or didn’t want. It probably would not come as a surprise to many moms of littles that our youngest (and pickiest eater) ended up eating just cheese on a tortilla. Crazy kids! My husband and I gobbled these right up. You have to try this one. I hope you will love these as much as I did. If you do, let me know!
