Awhile ago, Alisha posted a recipe from her friend, Cindy called Meatzza. It looked so yummy, but I decided to put a different spin on it by doing all ground beef and using my brownie pan from pampered chef. This pan has so many uses from brownies, cakes, pizzas and more. I love it!
So here is what I did:
I mixed 1 lb ground beef with about 1 TB Italian seasoning and a little garlic powder. Then I formed little patties and put them in each square (no greasing required). I baked them at 400 for about 15 minutes. Then I took them out of the pan to drain on paper towel and poured the grease out of the pan.
Now comes the fun part! Put the Meatzzas back in the pan and add your pizza sauce, toppings and cheese!
To some I added green olives and onions, some had bacon and some were just cheese.
I love being able to make individual meatzzas this way because then I can add the veggies I like and the kids (and hubby!) can have their meatzza the way they like!
Now put your meatzza back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. You can use broil to speed the process up, just keep a close eye to make sure you don’t burn the toppings!
I will take green olives on anything. Yes, please!
So yummy and so easy. No dough required!
