Whew! Summer is in full swing in the Hughes house. We jumped right into “Summer break mode” the minute the kids got off the bus. We kicked off the summer with a fort that took up our entire living room. The kids asked if they could sleep in the tent that night. . . we said,”Yes” and one night turned into four nights. We managed to maneuver around this living room size fort for four straight days. And it was great.
(bedtime. . . don’t they look tired?)
The past couple of weeks have been packed with water balloons, inflatable pools, swimming lessons, play dates with friends, Fam Jam at our church, and today I went to Chicago with my daughter and some of our friends. We have been busy. Really busy.
The other day I was replaying back to my friend what kind of a week we were having and I told her, “I have not had a chance to meal plan or grocery shop this week!” and I went on to talk about our dinner with the drive thru at McDonald’s followed by my trip to the store with my three kids, where I managed to forget half of the things I was intending to get. It’s just been like this. After a long (and good day) in Chicago and on the road, I’m tired as I type this, but we are having fun, and I am grateful. Very grateful.

No problem Tammy. Hope you and your husband enjoy the recipes. A good meal plan to start with (my most popular meal plan) is meal plan #2 here: http://mealplanningmommies.com//weight-watcher-meal-plan-with-weight-watcher-smart-points/
