Hearty Sausage and Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

extra virgin olive oil

garlic cloves,
minced
▢

onion,
chopped
▢

28 ounce cans diced tomatoes, undrained

cups
beef broth
▢

small cabbage

9.6 ounce package Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Crumbles

tablespoon
brown sugar
▢

teaspoons
dried basil
▢

teaspoon
dried oregano

Instructions
In a large stockpot, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and cook 2-3 minutes.
Cut stem off of cabbage and chop leaves into large chunks. (You should have about 8 cups of chopped cabbage)
Add remaining ingredients to the stockpot and cook over medium heat for 25-30 minutes, or until the cabbage leaves are as tender you like.
