Could you use some new MyWW (Weight Watchers) friendly lunch ideas? This list of low MyWW sandwiches might be just what you are looking for! This list includes over 50 simple recipes for delicious grilled paninis, flatbread sandwiches, lettuce wraps, and even a few burgers. The sandwiches listed below are compiled from Meal Planning Mommies and a few of your other favorite WW friendly blogs!

Get yourself ready for a great summer!

For many of us, lunch time takes on a whole new meaning when summer comes along. I got a little taste of what summer is going to be like when our kids were home for their spring break. My kids are getting older, and you know what that means…increased appetites! Spring break was my wake-up call. Those few days of the kids being out of school reminded me that I am going to have be be armed and ready this summer with plenty of healthy snacks and lunch ideas.

If you have kids, which of these sandwiches do you think they would love? Will it be the Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich or the Hawaiian Bagel Panini? Or maybe they would enjoy a good old Meatball Sandwich?

What goes great with a sandwich?

How about a soup or salad? I will be sharing some MyWW friendly soups and salads with Green, Blue, and Purple Smart Points in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for those! Until then, I have have put together a short list of quick and easy snacks and sides that go great with sandwiches. Along with plenty of fruits and vegetables, these sides will complete your meal and help keep you satisfied.

Foods that go great with sandwiches…

  • veggie straws
  • mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • apple
  • banana
  • pretzel thins
  • yogurt
  • light string cheese
  • fruit pops
  • popcorn
  • pineapple
  • applesauce
  • mandarin oranges
  • edamame
  • corn-on-the-cob
  • salad with light dressing
  • broth-based soups
  • hummus and veggies

Low Smart Point bread and buns.

Some of these recipes use “light” bread and buns. Light bread is 1 WW SP per slice and light buns are 2 WW SP each. Check our our list of low MyWW SP (green, blue and purple point) bread and buns here for ideas of which breads to look for.

Low Smart Points tortillas, wraps, and flatbreads.

Another list that may be helpful is our list of MyWW friendly flour tortillas, wraps, and flatbreads! Some of these recipes use tortillas. If you are doing one of those recipes you may want to hit this list that includes 1-2 WW SP tortillas and wraps first.

    Alicia,
    This came at the perfect time for me. I don’t feel like cooking after I’ve been outside most of the day. Getting gardens ready, trimming bushes, adding mulc, etc. So sandwiches are perfect for me! They all look good and I’m sure I’ll start trying them tonight. Besides that, I just rejoined WW. I’m still a little confused after being on MFP for three years. But, I know that’s part of the learning curve!

    What a great collection of WW friendly sandwiches. I was just commenting to my husband that I intended to rely on sandwiches for lunch more often this summer. Talk about perfect timing. Thanks for including my BLT and panini.
